Searcy real estate and White County real estate may see an increase in property taxes according to Larry DeGroat
I had a discussion with the White Count Assessors office today, January 26, 2011. They are required by law to re-value (appraise) real estate every three years and this year, 2011, is the re-evaluation year. If you have a mortgage and your taxes are increased, you will probably get a notice from your mortgage company showing your escrow account will be short. Don't panic, your terms of the loan has not changed, they just need to make sure you have the correct amount in your escrow account to pay the taxes when they come due.
Your Searcy real estate and White County real estate property taxes won't neccessarily increase but I am almost for sure they won't go down. If you have any real estate questions or need advice please don't hesitate to contact Larry DeGroat at 501-268-8489 or by e-mail at Larry@Searcy4Sale.com.
